Performance Unlimited Supports July 5th TNT Event at St Thomas Dragway!

LONDON, ONTARIO (May 7, 2008)  The Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series has partnered with Performance Unlimited for the 4th event in the 2008 TNT season.  This will allow the popular sportsman series to continue to guarantee a minimum of $500 to win at every event on the 2008 schedule.  The race, part of the Benson Auto Parts Show Me The Money Tour weekend, will be run on the 1/8 mile (7.00 index) and held entirely on Saturday July 5th.  “Qualifying will be during the day and eliminations will run to completion on Saturday night,” said Ted Barnes, TNT Series Director.  “This announcement demonstrates Performance Unlimited’s support of grass roots drag racers and is right in their back yard.  With July 5th being the only stop on the 2008 TNT schedule in southwestern Ontario, we’re lucky to have the support of Barry and his team.”

The Show Me The Money Tour is the richest money tour in Canada paying the Super Pro winner $5000 on Saturday and $10,000 on Sunday.  There is also a huge payout for the foot brake class.  This will bring the toughest of the toughest competitors from across the Ontario/Quebec and the United States to St Thomas Dragway.

Performance Unlimited demonstrates their commitment by supporting St Thomas Dragway’s Friday Night Street Legal program.  Founded on the premise of providing reliable service with affordable prices, the family owned business began in 1984 and has grown into a 3500 sq ft facility located in London, Ontario.  They supply car & truck accessories, import and domestic, oval track and drag.  Services provided on sight include nitrous refilling, distributor recurving and the installation of many accessories including tires.  Visit them at www.performanceunlimited.com .

The next event on the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series schedule is Friday June 13th at Dunn Tire Raceway Park.
